Formal + Informal Assessment
I use several assessments designed to determine student's entry/exit points in the ELL Program and To measure students attainment (Summative Assessment).
I work with my students to determinate progress through oral feedback, next step marking, pair assessment, students' portfolios, observations, anecdotal notes and group discussion. (Formal Assessment). I design my own progress tracking sheets. Here are some samples:
